The recommended dose of ashwagandha root or leaf powder for both short- and long-term use is 1–2 tsps once or twice daily, boiled in water or mixed with milk, buttermilk, ghee, or honey.
Basically don’t take ashwagandha as a adoption of a habit, don’t make it a habit.
Break the chain of taking ashwagandha after 1-2 months for 2-3 days and restart it again.

Do not make it complicated, ashwagandha is a herb, a nature’s powerful herb and it will not going to harm your body in any manner unless you take it large quantities per day.
