      Both the kingdoms of Gandhara and Kosala were related to Gautama Buddha’s life. His mother was a princess from the Kosalan dynasty. But the kingdoms of Avanti and Magadha were not directly related to the life of Buddha. Instead Magadha is closely related with Mahavira
